For a very easy to use snowblower, I like the Toro 1800 Power Curve. This snowblower is an electric unit. It runs and performs like a gas snow thrower without the maintenance.
The Toro Power Curve 1800 is 18" wide and will cut into snow 10" deep. Depending on how wet the snow is, it can throw snow up to 30 feet. It will move 700 pounds of snow a minute.
It has an adjustable chute to put the snow where you want it and a scraper that clears snow right down to the pavement.
The handle has a large switch for instant on and off with either hand. It has a key you can use to make it child safe.
The snowblower is very light and easy to store. If you are looking for a low maintenance snowblower for the average sized home, this will do a great job. Your only limitation is the length of your extension cord. I've had mine for about 10 years.
